  • Business Process Improvement & Re-Engineering
  • Equipment Leasing & Management
  • Industrial Sites Risk Management
Health Electronic Data Management (HDM)

This is based on the principles of Health Information Systems (HIS) sometimes referred to as Telemedicine. It is practically based on: RIS, PACS, HIS and PIS.

RIS – Radiology Information System

which is a system of networked software suite for managing medical imagery and associated data.

The RIS is used in our system in conjunction with PACS to manage workflow and billing. The RIS has following functions:

  • Patient Management
  • Scheduling
  • Patient Tracking
  • Results Reporting
  • Film Tracking
  • Billing
PACS – Picture Archiving & Communication Systems

which is an evolving healthcare technology for the short and long term storage, retrieval, management, distribution and presentation of medical images.

The PACS has 4 major components:

  • Imaging Systems
  • A secured network for exchange of patient data
  • Workstation
  • Archives for storage and retrieval
HIS – Hospital Information System

The health information system (HIS) is designed to manage healthcare data. This includes systems that collect, store, manage and transmit a patient’s electronic medical record (EMR), a hospital’s operational management or a system supporting healthcare policy decisions.

Our Health information systems also include those systems that handle data related to the activities of providers and health organizations. As an integrated effort, these may be leveraged to improve patient outcomes, inform research, and influence policy-making and decision-making.

Because health information systems commonly access, process, or maintain large volumes of sensitive data, security is a primary concern. The Hospital Information System (HIS) Also simplifies care coordination by improving access to patient history and health information. Also, the HIS aims to provide a centralized database where patient health data can be securely stored, accessed, and shared as necessary to improve the quality and delivery of patient care.

Benefits of out HIS feature include:

  • Reduce Operational Costs
  • Allow less error.
  • Serve More Patients
  • Flexible Payments
  • Own and Control Your Database.
  • Less Paper Work
  • Improve Data Security
  • Improve Patient Experience
PIS – Patient Information System

Our integrated patient information system allows authorized healthcare professionals to have access to the patient’s clinical information (for example, laboratory results, medications, vitals, drug list, previous SOAP notes, allergies and clinical notes) from multiple providers. It also allows the patient to view the record and where appropriate add any self-monitoring information. Many benefits and efficiencies can flow from information being recorded, at contact with health and care services, and shared securely between those providing care. The PIS feature also allows patients to have access to their medical records, which helps them to feel more knowledgeable about their conditions and encourages them to actively participate in shared decision making. Outside the patient encounter, it can improve follow-up for missed appointments, consultations, and diagnostic testing.

Enterprise Data Management (EDM)

The need for strong, reliable systems for data storage, management and retrieval cannot be over-emphasised. In today’s world, corporations are driven by information that comes in various format and sizes. These all need to be professionally managed – kept, retrieved, used and stored again. Organizations large and small will be kept in shape via adequate and professional data architecture and solutions. From manufacturing, IT, Accounting, Banking, and even government, the need for appropriate data management is on the increase.

Elconag intends to be a key professional player in this sub sector of Nigerian economy providing the needed back bone to Industries, Services and Government in Nigeria and indeed in the West African sub region using Nigeria as our hub.

The need for strong, reliable systems for data storage, management and retrieval cannot be over-emphasised. Information needs to be professionally managed – kept, retrieved, used and stored again.

The four models (RIS, PACS, HIS and PIS) are integrated in the Health Electronic Data System.

Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Telemedicine are the hallmarks of current and future medical institutions and government medical programmes.
